He shared key guidelines, inspired us with real life stories and examples, engaged the students with practical activities, give encouragement throughout and emphasise on continuous learning and practicing! Developing effective communication skill is so important, both in the business and in our private life today, regardless of ages and our seniority at work. And it is the backbone of public speaking. Hence, after attending the course, it helps us better understand the interaction with people and situations, overcome diversities, share ideas, ask questions, solve problems, build trust and respect. It’s an enriching experience getting to learn from the trainer Iwan and other course mates’ experiences. We also get to practice our presentation every lesson to apply our learning. The trainer is encouraging and affirming as well. I’m surprised he also touched on some psychological aspects of performance anxiety which helps bring some helpful insight too
